Being sent to shoot a breakfast meeting is usually boring event. It's usually a few speeches, a half hour of down time while breakfast is being served and eaten(which you're usually never given a plate), then the main speaker. Usually something to be sprayed and forgotten. Until yesterday.
All I have to say is 800 women dressed in red.

Hi Brian,
So how are you doing in the wonderfully cold Ohio weather. The wind here in my neck of the woods bites so hard, there is just no way to stay out in it for too long. I can't imagine having your job and having to be out in the weather from time to time shooting the news as it happens!
The ladies in red were probably all wearing the red for Heart Disease Awareness in women or something like that. Every woman I saw on TV that day seemed to wearing red for that reason.
I do enjoy your blog, I wish you would talk more about your job, just the ins and outs of what you do. You probably think it is all mundane things, but people like me like to read about more details. Just a word of encouragement...people really are interested!
