Currently I'm watching search and recovery efforts happening right off the pier at East 9th street here in downtown Cleveland. A twin engine plane took off from Burke Lakefront Airport in downtown Cleveland and quickly crashed into the frigid waters of Lake Erie at around 7:30pm last night.
Water temperatures are very low and life cannot be sustained for more than a few minutes before hypothermia sets in. But I'm always hoping out for a miracle in situations like this.
I'll try and update when possible.
